Find out exactly what is holding your website back, and why AI recommends other clinics instead of yours.

When a patient asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google's AI answer who to see for the problem you treat, a handful of clinics get named. Whether yours is one of them is decided almost entirely by your website, and most clinic owners have never seen what AI says about them or why. The Website & AI Visibility Review shows you both.

It is a full assessment of your whole website, not just a test of the AI answers. Every page is analysed and the weakest are named, with plain reasons. It examines your clinicians and whether their expertise is visible, your clinic's details and listings, your reviews, whether the AI tools can read your site at all, the local clinics AI names instead of you, and how your website works as a whole, from the way its pages connect to the way a visitor books.

Alongside that, it asks four AI tools sixteen questions built from your own website, the way a patient would ask them, which gives sixty-four answers. Six of the real answers are quoted in the AI's own words, and the result of all sixty-four is shown in a grid: how often you were named, who was named instead, and which websites AI treated as the expert.

What you receive is a report of around 30 pages written for your clinic, and a plan in order of impact: a list you can do yourself, the jobs for whoever looks after your website, the changes that turn visitors into bookings, and three pages you already have that would win you patients if you improved them.

It costs £599, VAT included, one payment, and we aim to send it within 2 working days.

What it does for you

What will it do for me?

By the time you have read it, you will:

  • Know whether AI names your clinic when patients ask who to see, and if it does not, exactly why.
  • Know which local clinics are being named instead of you, and what their websites are doing that yours is not.
  • Have a list of what to fix, in order of impact, split into what you can do yourself this week and what to hand to your web person. No more guessing where to start.
  • Know which three pages on your site to improve first, and what to change on each one.
  • Understand how AI chooses between clinics well enough to know what you need to do next.
  • Know what you need and what you do not, so the next time an agency or a tool tries to sell you something your clinic does not need, you can call bullsh*t on it before you pay.
What's examined

What does the full assessment look at?

Nine things.

What AI says about you

Sixteen questions, asked the way your patients ask them, of four AI tools: sixty-four answers. Six of them quoted in the AI's own words, and the result of all sixty-four in a grid: whether you were named, who was, and which websites AI trusted instead.

Your whole website

We scan every page the scan can find and sort them by type, so we can see which pages are doing work for you and which are not, and look closely at the ones that matter.

Your clinicians

Whether AI, and a patient, can see who they are, what they are qualified in, and what they have written.

Your clinic's details

Whether the basics patients and AI rely on are complete, consistent and easy to find.

Your reputation

How your reviews stand, and how recently they have been arriving.

Whether AI can read your site

Whether the AI tools are allowed in, and whether the technical basics are in place.

Your competition

Which local clinics AI named instead of you, and what it used from their websites.

Your website as a whole

How it hangs together, how a visitor finds their way around it, and what it tells AI about who you are.

How visitors become patients

How easy your site makes it to book, how it shows your reputation, and whether you can see the results.

What's in the report

What is in the report?

Around 30 pages, built from your website, your pages, your clinicians, your reviews and the answers AI gave about you. Five parts: what AI says about you, what your website is doing about it, what to do and in what order, how AI chooses clinics, and what next. This is the full contents list.

Where you stand, on one page

  1. 1Your AI visibility score out of 100. How many of 24 local answers named you. How many of 36 expert answers used your website as the source. Your Google reviews and rating. The three things that matter most.
  2. 2Why this matters now: patients have a conversation with AI, not a search; AI-referred visitors arrive ready to book; AI is starting to book for patients; what AI looks for.

What AI says about you

  1. 3What AI tells your patients: your four problems in the patient's own words, a grid of all 64 answers, how often each AI tool named you, and what happened at the final "how do I choose" question.
  2. 4The evidence: six of the real answers quoted in the AI's own words, shortened, your clinic's name highlighted, a result for each (chosen, recommended, second choice, not named), and under each one what it tells you and what you can do.
  3. 5Who AI sends patients to instead: the ten local clinics named most often instead of you, by which AI tool, and the websites AI used as the expert.

Your website

  1. 6What works and what does not: named, specific strengths and problems.
  2. 7Your team: a table, clinician by clinician, showing profile page, bio, photo, qualifications and registration number, and what it means.
  3. 8Your weakest pages: the pages that matter most to the problems patients asked about, each with its address and the plain reason it is held back, and which of your pages shows what good looks like.
  4. 9Your reputation: review count and rating, review pace over twelve, six and one months, the platforms you link to, and how to keep reviews coming within the rules.
  5. 10Can AI read your website: your actual robots.txt and which AI tools it lets in.

What to do, in order

  1. 11Your do-it-yourself list: free fixes in order of impact, as tick boxes, each marked for you, your front desk or your web person.
  2. 12For your web person: each job with what to do, why it matters and what we found on your site.
  3. 13Turning visitors into bookings: a booking prompt at the end of every condition page, your rating on every page, links from other websites, measuring what AI sends you, getting ready for AI that books for patients, each with what we found on your site.
  4. 14Your three quick wins: three pages you already have where AI recommended a nearby clinic instead, with what each AI tool said, why this page, and what to change.

How AI chooses, in plain English

  1. 15How AI decides which clinics to name.
  2. 16SEO and AI search: what carries over.
  3. 17Difference gets rewarded.
  4. 18The trap of generic AI writing.
  5. 19The hardest part is choosing.
  6. 20What to remember.

And at the end

  1. 21What's next: how the subscription works if you want the work done for you, and how to book a call. Appendix: how we measured.
Who it's for

Who is it for?

It is for the owner of an independent clinic who wants to see the evidence before deciding anything. Usually something has prompted it.

It is for a clinic that would rather have a diagnosis it can act on than a sales pitch. A clinic that never subscribes to anything still gets an honest account of where it stands and a practical list worth the price.

It is less useful if you are not able or willing to change anything on your website, because most of what the review tells you is what to change.

  • You are not getting the traction from Google that you used to.
  • Your organic bookings have been drifting down and you cannot see why.
  • Your paid ads cost more every year and bring in less.
  • Other clinics keep appearing where you do not, in Google and now in AI answers.
  • Patients mention that they asked ChatGPT before they booked.
  • You have a strong reputation that is not turning into new patients.
  • You have paid for generic content before, seen nothing change, and want to know what is actually wrong before you spend again.
The honest question

What if I just do nothing?

Nothing dramatic happens next month. That is what makes this easy to put off. Your reviews still arrive, your regulars still come back, and the website carries on doing what it has done for years.

What changes is slower and harder to see. More of the patients who would once have found you through Google now describe their problem to an AI and take its recommendation, and an AI names a handful of clinics and stops. There is no page two to be found on. The clinics it names are the ones that have given it something to read: who the clinicians are, what each is best at, and clear answers to the questions patients ask. The clinics that have started building that are not easier to find than you yet; they are the only ones it finds. Being nearly as good as them gets you nothing, and once a clinic is the one AI keeps naming for a problem in your area, that is a hard position to take back.

The reason to act now is that almost nobody has. Across the clinic websites we have assessed, the pattern is the same: strong reputations, real expertise, and websites that give AI almost nothing to work with. The gap is open because your competitors have not moved either. That will not stay true.

"I've done SEO. I've done Google Ads. Is this just the next hoop?"

No, and that is the point. It is not another channel to learn or another account to manage. It is the website you already have, made clear enough for the thing your patients now ask. Nothing in it needs you to understand how AI works, any more than you had to understand how Google worked to appear in it. The review tells you what to change, in order. If you want it done for you, that exists too.

I am Tor Davies. I trained as a physiotherapist before I became a publisher for physiotherapists, and I spent 25 years turning clinical research into something busy clinicians could use, across 100 issues of Co-Kinetic Journal, working with physiotherapy and physical therapy clinics around the world.

Since ChatGPT launched in November 2022 I have been building the system that produces this review. It does the examining and the writing; I built it to look at a clinic's website the way a patient, an AI and a search engine do, and to tell the owner what to change in words they can act on. It has now looked at 204 clinic websites.

Questions

Questions clinic owners ask about the review

How long does it take to arrive?

We aim to send your report within 2 working days of your order. The assessment itself runs in about an hour; the report is then written up for your clinic and checked by hand against your live website before it is sent.

What do you need from me?

Your website address, your country and an email address. We do not need access to your website, your analytics or your Google account. Everything in the review comes from what a patient, or an AI, can see from outside.

Is it really about my clinic, or a template?

It is about your clinic. The sixteen questions are built from your own website, the six answers quoted are the AI tools' own words about you, the pages are your pages, the clinicians are yours, the competitors are the ones AI actually named. The teaching section is the same for every clinic, because how AI chooses does not change from one clinic to the next; everything else is yours alone.

Does it look at my whole website or just a few pages?

We scan your whole site and sort every page the scan finds by type, then look closely at the pages that matter most to the problems your patients asked about. That is how the report can name your weakest pages, with their addresses, and say exactly what is holding each one back, rather than talking about your homepage and guessing about the rest.

Will it tell me how to fix things, or just what is wrong?

Both. The do-it-yourself list is in order of impact and most of it costs nothing. The list for your web person tells them what to do, why, and what we found on your site, in enough detail that they can get on with it. The booking fixes cover what happens once a visitor arrives, and the three quick wins tell you which pages to improve first and how.

What it does not include is new content, or the full technical instructions with the code; those come with the subscription.

We have done the free check. What will this tell us that it did not?

The free check asks the AI tools the questions and shows you the result. It tells you whether you are being named. The review is about why: what is going on on your website that attracts AI and search, or repels them, and what to change so that you become part of the answer. The AI test is one strand of it. The other eight, and the plan, are what you are paying for.

Yes. Many clinics will, and the review is written to be worth it on its own. The £99 first period is there if you decide you would rather have the work done for you, and it is a choice you make after you have read the report, not before.

Who sees my report?
